Human trafficking: The Lives Bought and Sold

Many children and women out there are being victims of human trafficking. Most of them are still at young age. Victims were promised a new life, like they were promised get a better education; however, most of them are from Nigeria, West Africa. Traffickers will make them as a slave with no paid or sex slave. If victims do not want do what traffickers told, traffickers will hurt victims, such as break victim’s face. Victims can do anything, because when they try to against, their family in danger.
Kemi, Bilkisu, and Jane are from Africa and they are the victims of human trafficking. They sent to United State. Kemi was promised a new life by traffickers, so that she can provide her family. In fact, Kemi was told to work as a prostitute for 3 years. She said that a woman, who is a trafficker, was used Kemi’s wage to send her daughters to school. Bilkisu was sent to UK and forced to do housework. She also did childcare. She worked since she was 15 and no pay for almost 10 years. The impact is she doesn’t know how to make friends anymore. Jane was being trafficked across the UK by groups of men for sex. She ever had mistreatment, such as the men take inappropriate pictures of her.
In my opinion, we should care with one another around us, whether we know them or not. If we see human trafficking around us, we can tell the police. Let the police solve it. We also can prevent it by take care our relatives around us.

  2. We have to be careful with the outside world in these days, and we have to take care of each others, like if we saw something suspicious we should help them...
