Iran's persecution of Gay Community Revealed

Iran is sistematically denied the lifestyles of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people by exposing them to horrific punishment, bullying, and risk of suicide. This information was gotten from hundreds of LGBT Iranians using face to face interviews or through a secret online forum. In 2007, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that in his country they do not have homosexuals like other country has.

The report acknowledges that decriminalization of homosexuality would not necessarily mean an end to LGBT discrimination. As the result, many LGBT members in the country feel excluded from the society. A gay man said that he did not see himself as part of the society at all. Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said that they were forced to make to protect themselves; many Iranian LGBTs managed to get on with their lived and to forge a sense of community and solidarity.

We are not perfect. We born with an imperfection. In my opinion, we should not do bad thing to other people, even they are LGBT people or not. They have their own life and so we do. Better we change ourselves to be a good person rather than we bother other’s life.
